Hey Parents!

As kids #stayhome this Summer, we’re excited to welcome you to Galileo XP’s Online Afterschool Clubs – up to 20 hours of extra-curricular classes designed to help kids become independent, self-directed, self-organised learners. Check out the schedule below, and be sure to RSVP for the weekly club(s) of your choice (there’s *no* limit!), running online via Zoom through the month of June.

Spots are goin’ fast, and registration is required. Each session is 50 minutes long.

Writing ‘Round the World

Learn basic animation concepts, and make a short animation from start to finish.

No animation experience required.

Discover new cultures, communities and histories through short stories from global authors!

Over 4 weeks, we’ll visit Spain, India, the Maldives, and Germany.

Learn the basics of filmmaking!

Together we’ll explore the foundations of filmmaking: brainstorming ideas, writing a storyboard, checking out equipment, shooting the footage, and editing our film.

A gentle introduction to programming concepts through the experience of a video game.

Use computational thinking and programming to navigate your character to victory!

Harness your creativity to tell stories that bring the world closer together!

Over 4 weeks, we’ll visit Spain, India, the Maldives, and Germany.

  1. How long are these classes?
    All classes are 60 minutes, from 4-5pm (Singapore time). Check out the schedule and book your spot below.

     

  2. Must I RSVP for a class in order to attend?
    Yes, you have to sign up for a class in order to attend it. Zoom links will only be sent to parents who fill out the form above.
  3. Can I sign up for more than 1 class?
    Yes! You can sign up for as many classes as you like.
  4. Are the weekly classes progressive? E.g. Can I join in from Week 2 or Week 3?
    Classes are designed to be progressive. We recommend signing up for the class(es) of your choice by June 11, and joining each class as early as you can.
  5. What is the format of these classes?
    Classes will be conducted live by instructors based internationally, over Zoom.
