All you need to know!

This is what the inside of a website looks like.

See that chunk of code at the bottom? That’s a programming language called HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and it’s what gives a website structure.

The appearance of a site is controlled by an accompanying language called CSS (Cascading Style Sheet). That’s where you can tweak the layout, fonts, backgrounds and more of your website. Together, HTML and CSS form the basis of every Web page and application!

But if you wanna make your website look like it’s been coded by a pro AND do it real quick, you’re gonna need more than just HTML and CSS.

Introducing Bootstrap! Created by a developer and designer from Twitter, this front-end framework and open source platform gives you access to a whole library of readymade tools that you can add into your website’s source code

You can add all sorts of cool stuff to your site with Bootstrap like fancy buttons, a sign in page and forms. This way, you’ll get to focus on the layout and design of the site and give it that extra professional edge.

Check out some of the sites created by our students!

Nothing like a tribute website to the almighty world of Minecraft! This website was designed and coded by 12 year old Wei Chong.

This website was made by 10 year old Jonathan. He wanted to make a website that featured some of his favourite Scratch games that he coded himself and tada! How awesome is this?

If kids as young as 10 can create their own awesome websites, ANYONE can do it. Wanna see what your kid can code too? It's time to become an unstoppable website master!

Saturday Kids don't learn to code. They code to learn.

No lectures. No memorisation. No ONE right answer. Like real life, we're all about trying things out yourself, failing, figuring what went wrong & trying again. These are the skills & mindset that will last a lifetime and how we learn in real life. Let's get kids to learn how to learn. Because the kids who learn to learn become curious, inventive, resourceful human beings who solve real world problems to make a meaningful impact.
