All you need to know

1. Creative Writing: Eon Expedition

Embark on a thrilling science fiction journey through the labyrinth of time, where every decision opens a new path. Will yours lead you to historical epics, futuristic utopias, or alternate realities?

Utilizing the power of AI through ChatGPT, students will not only explore the rich tapestry of branching narratives and Choose Your Own Adventure stories but also learn to craft their own. They will learn prompt engineering, navigate complex plots, create compelling characters, and master the art of meaningful decision-making.

This program is not just about storytelling; it’s a comprehensive skill-building experience. It enhances critical thinking and creativity, nurtures linguistic proficiency, and introduces students to the exciting world of AI and its applications in storytelling.

2. Ethics of AI: Rise of the Robots

Our interstellar travellers visit Solaris, the world where A.I. and robots appear to co-exist harmoniously with humans. A young boy James has called us to track the whereabouts of his trusty robot butler, Alfred. As the Doyobi Explorers investigate the duplicitous Company that has captured suspected sentient A.I., they think about

– the characteristics that differentiate robots and A.I.

– how A.I. and robots can positively or negatively impact society

– how data is used to train A.I. and experiment with creating their own A.I.

– the limitations of A.I. and debate why humans will continue to be essential.

What happens when we become overly reliant on technology?

Is it possible to have a world where A.I. goes solo, without human instruction?

We find out, as we traverse different communities, observe and discuss our findings on the ethics, benefits and dangers of embracing the use of A.I. and robots in our society.

Pedagogy

No lectures. No memorisation. No ONE right answer. Like real life, we're all about trying things out yourself, failing, figuring what went wrong & trying again. These are the skills & mindset that will last a lifetime and how we learn in real life. Let's get kids to learn how to learn. Because the kids who learn to learn become curious, inventive, resourceful human beings who solve real world problems to make a meaningful impact.

Your kid will love it.
